Vice President Retired General Constantino Chiwenga says government has set its sights on leaving a better heritage for future generations through programmes that will see the rebranding of Zimbabwe.
Vice President Chiwenga took Zanu PF’s campaign trail to Mafuta near Rafingora in Zvimba North where a capacity crowd turned up for the occasion.
He said government has a plan of action meant to stimulate growth in several sectors of the economy while moves have already been made to improve health care services.
To that effect CAPS Pharmaceutical Company is being re-tooled to increase its drugs manufacturing capacity.
On infrastructure development issues, Vice President Chiwenga said the Mapinga-Mutorashanga and Rafingora-Guruve roads will be revamped and modernised.
He also spoke strongly against corruption saying people should use honest means of getting rich.
Turning to labour issues, Vice President Chiwenga said Zimasco Mutorashanga should let its current workforce stay put at the struggling company until things normalise.
He also tasked Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi and his Mines and Mining Development counterpart Mr Winston Chitando to look into complaints raised over high rentals at the Zimasco owned houses in Mutorashanga.
Meanwhile, the Vice President has once again urged Zimbabweans to maintain the peace which has prevailed during the campaign period.
