Football followers have expressed varying opinions on the Warriors chances of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup following the draw for the qualifiers that was conducted in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil this Saturday.
The Warriors were drawn in Group E of the qualifiers alongside record African champions Egypt, and Guinea, while the winner of the preliminary match pitting Mozambique and Comoros will determine the fourth team in the group.
Upon receiving news of the draw football followers expressed mixed reactions on the Warriors chances of emerging tops in the qualifiers.
â€œIt is a tricky group. Egypt has not been playing well of late but Guinea is a real threat,â€ said one Warriors supporter.
The team that finishes on top of the group will advance to the final round of qualifiers, where there will be another draw for a clash with other group winners to contest a two-legged tie for a place in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The penultimate round of qualifiers will get underway in June next year.
