The Zimbabwe national soccer team, the Warriors, to do battle in an international friendly against Zambia are still trickling into camp as the team gears up for Sunday’s encounter.

Serious training is expected to begin this Friday after players were only called into camp on Wednesday.

Players trickled into camp at ZIFA Village this Thursday with ZIFA spokesperson Xolisani Gwesela indicating full training will begin on Friday.

It is still unclear whether Tendai Ndoro of Orlando Pirates and Evans Rusike will make it for Sunday’s encounter against Zambia.

Norman Mapeza on Wednesda released a provisional squad dominated by locally-based players with Ndoro and Rusike the two foreign based players called in.

Mapeza is being assisted by Tonderai Ndiraya of Ngezi Platinum.

The squad called in for Sunday’s encounter slated for the National Sports Stadium is dominated by players from Ngezi Platinum who have six being called into camp, four will come from the Green Machine with FC Platinum providing three players.

Sunday’s encounter will be Zimbabwe’s first game since bowing out of the Africa Cup of Nations after a loss to Tunisia.
