The Warriors who were placed 118th in the previous rankings released in January, ascended up the rankings ladder to begin the month of February placed on 113, 5 places above their previous position.

The Warriors, who have been on a steady decline in recent years due to the team’s failure to qualify for previous AFCON and World Cup editions however maintained 28th position on their continental ranking.

Meanwhile, world champions Spain maintained 1st position, while the Netherlands remained unchanged on second.

Germany is 3rd, one place ahead of Brazil. According to the latest rankings Ghana is ranked first on the African continent while Cote d’Ivoire is second followed by Egypt on third.
