Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa has mourned the late Assistant Director in the President’s Department in charge of the western region, Cde Zenzo Ntuliki, saying the country has lost a brave fighter and struggle hero who dedicated his life for the betterment of Zimbabwe.

Cde Mnangagwa made the remarks when he visited the home of Cde Ntuluki in Burnside in Bulawayo this Wednedsay to pay his condolences to the family.

He was accompanied by the Minister of State in his office Cde Clifford Sibanda, the Minister of State for Bulawayo Province Cde Eunice Sandi Moyo  and the Minister of Welfare of War Veterans, Collaborators and Restrictees Retired Colonel Tshinga Dube.

Addressing the mourners, Cde Mnangagwa said the late national hero had excelled in all the roles assigned to him before and after the war of liberation, adding that he has left a huge void that will be difficult to fill.

He urged the bereaved family to remain united and celebrate the life of Cde Ntuliki.

Family spokesperson, Mr Josiah Ntuluki extended the family gratitude to President Robert Mugabe, the Zanu PF leadership and government for according Cde Ntuliki the national hero status.

A funeral service will be held at his rural home in Ingwidzi, Gwanda tomorrow at 10.am before his body is flown back to Bulawayo.

Cde Ntuliki will be buried at the National Heroes Acre in Harare on Saturday .
