Vice President Constantino Chiwenga addressing Zanu PF supporters at Vungwi School in Shurugwi South

Vice President Retired General Constantino Chiwenga has strongly condemned acts of violence that occurred in Bulawayo saying they embarrass the nation which is known for its peace loving populace.

Vice President Chiwenga made the remarks while addressing thousands of Zanu PF supporters at Vungwi School in Shurugwi South.

The Zanu PF Second Secretary described the violence that rocked White City stadium on Saturday last week as an act of cowards with no respect for human life.

Retired General Chiwenga, who was accompanied by senior party leaders, enunciated the party’s election manifesto and urged the people to vote for Zanu PF and President Emmerson Mnangagwa in the coming harmonised elections whose vision is to foster unity, advance development, create jobs and re-engagement.

The vice president has been on a whirlwind campaign drumming up support for President Mnangagwa and he will now take his campaign trail to Gokwe South in Nenyunga and Chireya areas.
