Vice President Retired General Dr Constantino Chiwenga has called for peaceful elections while urging those who have not registered to vote to go and do so.
Vice President Chiwenga made the call in Zvishavane when he was addressing thousands who witnessed the official hand over of Mandava stadium to the community.
The vice president urged people to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner and cherish their democratic right which they must express through voting.
Mandava stadium underwent major reconstruction done by Mimosa Mining Company.
It has become the home of FC Platinum.
The vice president also handed over two refuse collection vehicles, one to Zvishavane Town Council and another to Gweru.
Both vehicles were also acquired by the platinum mining company under its public private partnership initiative.
