A group of MDC Alliance supporters disrupted proceedings during a ceremony to officially open the newly tarred 3 km road linking police and Pfupajena township in Chegutu.
It seems violence is the DNA of opposition party MDC Alliance after its supporters went on a rampage and violently disturbed a ceremony to officially open a newly tarred road in Chegutu by the sitting Member of Parliament for Chegutu West Dexter Nduna.
The party is showing its true colours as a violent party as it is determined to spoil the obtaining peaceful and tranquil environment just 7 days before Zimbabweans vote in the highly anticipated harmonised 2018 elections.
The people who were gathered at the function who were mainly Zanu PF supporters remained calm by not responding to the provocations in heeding President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s stern call to observe peace and avoid violence in these and future elections.
This message was further harnessed by Mr Nduna when he told Zanu PF supporters to guard against divisive elements meant to destabilise the country.
