levi nyagura 07-09-10.jpgUniversity of Zimbabwe Vice Chancellor, Professor Levi Nyagura says his institution will continue engaging strategic partners in its quest to offer world class tertiary education.

 

Speaking after receiving twenty scholarships from Identity Systems and a donation of sports equipment worthy US$60 000 from the Zimbabwe Youth Network, Professor Nyagura said UZ is rebranding to meet 21st century standards and as such will work closely with several stakeholders in its bid to offer world class education.

 

“The University of Zimbabwe is rebranding in order to be recognised internationally.

 

Currently, the university has students from as far as North America, Europe and China,” Professor Nyagura said.

 

Professor Nyagura added that UZ will continue its partnership with members of the corporate world, the public sector and Non-Governmental Organisations in order to improve the quality of education at the institution of higher learning.
