new album.pngThe government has hailed churches for their continued efforts in spreading the Word of God in the country through gospel music.

Speaking during the official launch of Masowe eChishanu UK album and DVD at a local hotel in the capital, the Minister of Media, Information and Publicity, Cde Webster Shamu, said churches play a pivotal role in bringing peace and stability in the country.

He added that churches should not be restricted from worshiping in any place deemed necessary.

Cde Shamu warned people who are pirating music against such practices.

“We are not at liberty to divulge the tactics the task force is employing, (but) we can confidently tell you that there would  be gnashing of teeth for those who are reaping where they did not sow,’’ he said.

A member of the Masowe eChishanu church, Madzibaba Foreman, said churches should practice what they preach.

Masowe eChishanu launched their second album entitled ‘’Yeso Ari Kushevedza.” The group is based in United Kingdom.
