A UK based football coach Grant Brown arrived in the country on a 10-day tour at the invitation of one of the country’s top football academy BN Academy following a partnership agreement sealed last year.

Brown, a former footballer and now coach, finally arrived for the anticipated BN Academy coaching clinic running from Monday 23 April 27 April.

BN Academy is a youth sports development and football academy based in Zimbabwe focussing on youths aged between 5 and 19 years.

Brown could not hide his excitement at working with local coaches following a visit by BN Academy director Bhekimpilo Nyoni and four boys to a UK training camp last year.

Two boys are set to win free development camp in the UK at Football CV Academy from 13 August to 24 August 2018.

BN Academy coach Clayton Munemo said he was excited about the partnership with CV Academy in the UK.

The clinic is likely to be oversubscribed as only two players will be selected by the UK top academy Football CV Academy.

Former Warriors midfielder and captain Tinashe “Father” Nengomasha recently joined the academy as it continues to improve the technique and tactical development of young aspiring players.

Other top coaches at the BN Academy include Philemon Kutyakureva, Steve Chikodzi and Anthony Wheriwa.

The academy has produced some top players who have been awarded scholarships in the UK and US and dreams of producing more excellent and gifted players.

The academy’s motto is, “Excellence is Our Motto”.
