under 17.jpgThe Zimbabwe Junior Football Association has begun the selection process for the U-17 national soccer team that will represent the country at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The association’s secretary-general, Calvin Karinyazima said they are targeting players who are 14 years and under.
He said the selection will begin at district level where the teams will compete in inter-district competitions from which a provincial team will be chosen.
Karinyazima said the association will set up a panel of selectors that will identify talent at inter-provincial tournaments for the national team.
