Perennial relegation candidates Tsholotsho FC club has once again started the season on a less convincing note attributing the poor results to fatigue.

Iziqholo zeZhwane who are currently anchoring the log standing after accumulating 4 points from their 9 matches, has seen the club losing their last 5 matches with head coach Farai Tawachera of the opinion that the travelling his side has to endure has a huge toll on his players among other factors.

Despite a dominant showing in most of their matches, Tsholotsho has continually failed to maintain concentration throughout the match resulting in them being punished by their opponents.

The financial challenges that have hit Iziqholo zeZhwane has not made the situation any better with coach Tawachera calling upon the club’s stakeholders to come together if the season is to be salvaged.

The club has been a good breeding ground of talent for other teams with FC Platinum being the biggest beneficiary in players like Gerald Takwara and William Stim as well as coach Lizwe Sweswe.

While there are still 25 matches to be played, Tsholotsho will be the first to confirm that time is ticking away and they have to start picking points to avoid the last two seasons’ performance of surviving relegation on the last day.
