Harare Metropolitan Province says adequate transport has been organised for mourners who will attend the burial of the Commander of Commanders, Retired General Solomon Mujuru.

Harare Metropolitan Provincial Administrator, Mr. Alfred Tome, says they are expecting an overwhelming number of mourners and have engaged several transport operators to ferry them at the usual pick up points to the national shrine on Saturday for the burial of General Solomon Mujuru.

Mourners are expected to be at the national shrine by 8 o’clock in the morning.


Youths will gather at around 7 in the morning before marching to the national shrine.


Retired General Mujuru died on Monday after fire engulfed his farm house in Beatrice.
