Timz Creative Arts Group is encouraging artists to preach the gospel of paradise opposed to the popular gospel of prosperity.

This came out at a media briefing that was meant to officially announce the launch of the group’s two albums.

32-year-old Colleen Timeo who was strongly motivated by the music of Baba Mechanic Manyeruke will be launching his second album this Saturday in the capital under Timz Creative Arts Group.

The gospel musician said some of his songs are drawn from the Biblical texts and some from his unpublished poems which he wrote a long time ago.

Speaking during a media briefing in the capital today, Timeo said he will be launching his first album ‘Namatai Musiki’ which he did in 2015 together with his new offering titled ‘Huni Dzegehena’.

The new 6 track album features songs like ‘Gadziriro Yemweya’, ‘Jehova Mufudzi Wangu’, ‘Musafunganya’ and ‘Huni Dzegehena’.

Timeo’s gospel music is motivated by the desire to preach the gospel of paradise rather than the trendy gospel of prosperity.
