tobacco queues.jpgTobacco farmers have castigated the Tobacco Industry Marketing Board (TIMB) for failing to coordinate its online services.

The development has seen most farmers failing to sell their crop on delivery leading to congestion.

The farmers questioned the role of the decentralised district offices which were set up to facilitate the registration process at district level.

Boka Auction Floors Director of Special Projects, Mr Moses Bias said they received more than 700 bales of unbooked tobacco yesterday, but however said they could not help the farmers as TIMB would fine them for selling the unbooked crop.
