With five games remaining till the end of the 2017 Premier Soccer League, the league’s title probabilities have become interesting.

Rufaro stadium maybe one of three venues where the PSL title will be decided in what has become a 4-horse race.

FC Platinum has raised the bar in recent games with victories over Highlanders and Shabanie Mine propelling the Zvishavane-based side to the top of the log.

Interestingly, a Dynamos son Harlington Shereni believes the title maybe headed to Zvishavane this time around.

In the remaining games, Dynamos have tricky matches against Ngezi Platinum and Chicken Inn, while Ngezi have an even bigger task with games against Dynamos, Chicken Inn and FC Platinum.

FC Platinum play ZPC Kariba at home as well as having to host Ngezi while the Gamecocks travel to Kariba for a date against ZPC with encounters against Ngezi and Dynamos part of their crucial last 5 games.

In the midst of the gruelling race, coaches are also the centre of attention.

Rahman Gumbo has won the domestic title twice with Highlanders, Norman Mapeza guided Monomotapa to glory in 2008 but Tonderayi Ndiraya and Lloyd Mutasa are searching for maiden titles.

Among the contenders, Dynamos top the list of titles won with 22, Chicken Inn have one crown to their name while Ngezi and FC Platinum are chasing for a first crown.

As fans watch from the stands with much anxiety, it will be interesting to see whether it will be Dynamos, FC Platinum, Ngezi Platinum or Chicken Inn to land the 2017 title.
