Local mobile operator, Telecel Zimbabwe is set for a major expansion programme in the third quarter of this year if negotiations for a US$200 million injection are concluded.
Plans for expansion are on course following negotiations comprising government, the mobile operator and financiers.
Telecel Zimbabwe Chief Executive Officer Ms Angeline Vere said her company is set for brighter days.
The Telecel boss believes more exciting opportunities are in the offing considering the infrastructure sharing statutory instrument passed by government.
The mobile operator is basking in the glory after government took over shareholding of the company and the US$200 million injection is expected to increase the organisation’s market share.
