susan-tsvangirai.jpgThe Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces,  President Robert Mugabe, has described the late wife of Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai as a woman who was motherly and a family person respected by both the Mhundwa and Tsvangirai families.

Speaking at the memorial of Amai Susan Tsvangirai, who died exactly a year ago, President Mugabe said as politicians there is a common bond that we are all Zimbabweans and united for the good of our country.

He said he was invited to the memorial and even if he was not invited he could have found his way to the church as he knows the pain of loosing one’s partner such as what happened to Prime Minister Tsvangirai last year.

Several speakers spoke of the good works done by Amai  Tsvangirai with the President urging leaders at the top to send correct messages to the people that Zimbabwe is one and the people united to develop their country.
