A call has been made for Zanu PF youths to take a lead in deciding the future of the nation by supporting the President’s Vision 2030.

Zanu PF Harare province youth league chairman Cde Godwin Gomwe said youths should support President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s efforts to turn around the country’s economy by focusing on development.

“Let us work together as youths in showing our presents in Harare by defending our leader and not to allow opposition parties to control everything,” said Cde Gomwe.

Cde Gomwe also took a swipe at perpetrators of violence that rocked the nation last month where property worth millions of dollars was lost.

“This time when the MDC is cleared to do demonstrations by the police we as Zanu PF youths will counter their demos by stopping them since these demonstrations are not good at all,” he added.

The Zanu PF youths meeting sought to mobilise and restructure its cell and district structure and strengthen the party’s visibility in Harare province which is dominated by opposition parties.
