A cabinet minister has called on Zimbabweans to reflect on why societies have laws to encourage and protect the institution of marriage, and why the strength of a nation derives from the integrity of the home.

Marriage is a sacred union rooted in the divine plan of creation and whenever two people decide to be joined in Holy Matrimony, the occasion brings joy and celebration.

This Saturday (today), hundreds of relatives, friends, and colleagues gathered at Margolis Resort in Harare to celebrate with one of their own, Stewart Mutizwa who tied the knot with Marvellous Kalala.

Strong families are the building blocks of strong communities, which become the building blocks of strong nations, said Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi.

Stewart’s mother Mrs Mutizwa and Marvellous’ brother Joseph hailed the two for taking the right route by starting their union on a firm foundation.

Stewart is the national chairman of the Zimbabwe Youth in Tourism and is also the Zanu PF director for environment and tourism.

The First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa is the patron of the Zimbabwe Youth in Tourism.
