Zanu PF deputy national commissar Cde Omega Hungwe has given a warning to the party leadership in Masvingo Province to stop chucking people out of the party but instead work on rebuilding the party.

Every party member and leader should now concentrate on wooing more members to the party and stop purging fellow members.

This was said by Cde Hungwe as she addressed party members from Masvingo’s seven districts at a provincial interdistrict meeting.

Cde Hungwe said the party is working to ensure that every member, particularly those who aspire to be leaders, go through the Chitepo Ideological College.

This she said will make sure they are well versed in the party’s principles and values.

Masvingo Zanu PF provincial chairperson Cde Ezra Chadzamira cautioned party members who partake in corrupt activities hiding behind the party name.

The meeting also saw the deputy commissar briefing the party members on the events that led to President Emmerson Mnangagwa assuming power.
