elvischiweshe.jpgDynamos assistant coach, Simon Chuma has called on his team’s fans to be rationale and stop exerting unwarranted pressure on head coach, Elvis ‘Chuchu’ Chiweshe, saying the man deserves some respect for what he has achieved for the Glamour Boys.

Chiweshe eased some of the pressure he has been facing in the past few weeks after a 2-1 victory over police side, Black Mambas, on Wednesday at Rufaro Stadium.

Chuchu could not bring himself to give a comment after the match, but chose to let Simon Chuma speak on the meaning of the victory.

“I feel very happy that we have won today because our supporters have been exerting so much pressure on our head coach. I urge them to bear with Chuchu and give him some respect for what he has done for this club.

“A win can not always come, but to have people calling for his head would give him unnecessary pressure,” said Chuma.

Chiweshe, who guided Dynamos to a runners-up slot last season, will complete his taste of the African Safari with a date with Tunisian giants, Esperance, this Saturday at Rufaro Stadium.
