The Zimbabwe Soccer Coaches Association (ZISCA) has added its voice to those criticising administrative interference on technical issues in the wake of suspensions effected at Yadah FC.

It has been a turbulent past few days in the camp of premiership newboy’s Yadah FC who were massacred 7-2 by Bantu Rovers at the weekend.

The build up to Yadah’s encounter had disaster written all over it after club owner and self proclaimed technical director Walter Magaya suspended the technical team for failing to heed his advice which he says resulted in the team earning its first defeat a 1-nil loss at the hands of Dynamos.

In the wake of the Yadah chaos ZISCA chairman Bhekimpilo Nyoni says it is vital for club owners to stick to handling administrative issues and let the coaches make technical decisions.

The matter between Yadah FC’s owner and suspended coach Jairos Tapera was yet to be settled on Tuesday (today) afternoon although sources said the two parties were in the midst of charting a way forward.

Tapera was last week suspended by Yadah FC owner Walter Magaya for allegedly not listening to instructions in the team’s 1-nil defeat to Dynamos.

ZIFA on Monday (yesterday) responded to the drama in the Yadah camp by warning the premiership newboys to adhere to club licensing requirements of engaging in league assignments with qualified technical personnel.
