The Starbrite finals have been set for the 19th and 20th of January next year in Bulawayo where a total of 29 acts will vie for top honours.

Starbrite held its last talent scouting show in Mutare after the organisers decentralised its events.

As a result, other cities such as Bulawayo and Mutare will get a chance to play host to the show.

Speaking to the ZBC News, the organiser of the event, Mr Barney Mpariwa said they face a number of challenges as they try to bring some of these shows to other cities.

The finals will see contestants competing in various categories which include the junior, poetry, dance, dancehall and singers class.

The spirit of the Starbrite competition holds beliefs that being homeless or coming from a rural set up must not limit the expression of successful talent.
