Cricket fans are in for an exciting moment of action following the official launch of the Stanbic T20 series at Harare Sports Club this Wednesday afternoon.

West Indies batsman Chris Gayle, who is turning out for Matabeleland Tuskers said he is expecting fireworks over the nine days’ tournament.

Sixteen matches will be played over a period of nine days at Harare Sports Club with the final scheduled for Sunday the 4th of December.

This year, the tournament features 12 overseas professionals with the biggest star being West Indies hard-hitting batsman, Chris Gayle.

The teams taking part in the tournament are defending champions Mashonaland Eagles, Matabeleland Tuskers, MidWest Rhinos, Southern Rocks and Mountaineers.
