The stage is set for Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations encounter between Zimbabwe and Liberia.

Warriors team manager, Wellington Mpandare says there are still doubts over whether Ronald Chitiyo will be fit enough for the tie.

The clock continues to tick towards Sunday’s AFCON opener in which Zimbabwe will be hosting Liberia.

With injury having already ruled out Edmore Sibanda, Dennis Dauda, Simon Shoko and Khama Billiat, Ronald Chitiyo is another player that remains doubtful for the Warriors.

The Warriors team manager, Mpandare said the team is fired up for Sunday’s battle pointing to expectations that fans will throng the National Sports Stadium to watch their favourite team in action.

Both teams trained at the match venue today so as to get the feel of the turf ahead of Sunday’s duel.

Zimbabwe have a better head to head record against Liberia after overcoming the West Africans in 2011 and drawing away from home in 2010.
