The government says the church has a role to play in the provision of health to the people.

Minister of Health and Child Care Dr David Parirenyatwa who was the guest speaker at the official opening of St Claires Clinic in Mrewa built by the Angican Church’s Vabvuwi, commended the church for complimenting government efforts in providing quality health services to the people.

Leader of the Province of Harare in the Anglican Church Bishop Chad Gandiya said services offered at the clinic will improve the lives of the local people.

The clinic was built in memory of five members of the church’s Vabvuwi who died in a car crash near the new clinic along the Harare-Nyamapanda highway in 1997.
