National sport associations have been tasked with coming up with 100 day quick win projects in line with the government’s turnaround strategy.

This was revealed during the Sport and Recreation Commission (SRC)’s quarterly meeting held today in Harare.

SRC Acting Director General, Joseph Muchechetere said the quarterly meeting was aimed at sharing with national sport associations the government’s expectations and at the same time road mapping for this sporting season.

The SRC Board Chairperson, Edward Siwela said the meeting deliberated on a lot of things including the issue of fundraising through national associations which have to host more events in order to generate more foreign currency.
