zifa president.jpgZIFA president, Cuthbert Dube and finance chief, Elliot Kasu, say the football association has sponsors who are waiting in the wings, but will only come aboard after the conclusion of the Asiagate scandal.

They have been called beleaguered, bankrupt and perennial beggars.

But Dube and Kasu argue such titles will soon be a thing of the past once the Asiagate report is completed this April.

After accusations and counter accusations on the board for its failure to come up with a clear cut strategic plan that will ensure the football mother body becomes a self sustaining institution, the development if realised, comes as a breath of fresh air for ZIFA whose operations are always dealt severely by lack of adequate financial resources.
