South Korea has hailed the new Harare administration for a policy shift which is investor friendly and says it is exploring many opportunities for its nationals to invest in.
The South Korean envoy to Zimbabwe appeared before the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade where they discussed on the possible areas of strengthening economic ties.
South Korea is the 11th strongest economic country.
Asked on which areas they felt Zimbabwe should improve to attract investment from the Asian giant, Ambassador Choi Jaichel said as a country it was against policy to attack the policies of other governments but they were impressed by the immediate amendment to the indigenisation law which paused a lot of uncertainty to many a potential investor.
South Korea is one among many international countries from across the globe who have been coming into the country seeking investment opportunities since the change of government in Zimbabwe.
