Mbare will tomorrow play host to what promises to be an exciting karate extravaganza that will see top karatekas competing at the International Karate Organisation (IKO) tournament set for Stodart Hall in Mbare.

A visit to the Kyokushin Shibata Doja at Mai Musodzi Hall in Mbare depicted a mood of high expectation from the fighters who are eager to compete.

With all roads leading to Stodart Hall for the karate community, Sensei Thomas Chiwomba said top competition is expected.

The event will be graced by a South African team that will be led by Shihan Wandile Nkhapa.

Several top fighters such as Gabriel Makomborero, Martin Chabaya, Mernard Mwanyisa and Jaycee Mufundisi will be part of tomorrow’s competition.
