simonkhayamoyo.jpgZANU PF National Chairman, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo has paid tribute to fellow African countries that supported the country during the liberation struggle ahead of tomorrow’s 21st February Movement celebrations.

Ambassador Moyo was speaking at the ZANU PF headquarters after receiving a donation from the Nigerian community in Zimbabwe meant to prop up the 21st February celebrations.

While applauding the excellent relations between Zimbabwe and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ambassador Moyo said the donation is a symbol of solidarity which has always existed between the two countries dating back to the days of the liberation struggle.

The Nigerian community in Zimbabwe handed over  a cash donation of US$3 000 and 2 000 golf tee-shirts valued at US$15 000.

The community’s chairman, Mr. Simon Udemba urged young people in Zimbabwe who are the main beneficiaries of Cde Mugabe’s excellent leadership qualities to take advantage of indigenisation opportunities created by ZANU PF empowerment policies.

This year’s 21st February Movement celebrations are being held under the theme “Youth for Indigenisation and Empowerment.”
