stolen copper wire.jpgPolice have confirmed the arrest of six men who were found in possession of 400 kilogrammes of copper cables worth US$8 000 believed to have been stolen in Kadoma.

 

Police Spokesperson, Chief Superintendant Oliver Mandipaka said the suspects were arrested following a tip- off from members of the public .

 

Chief Superintendant Mandipaka urged members of the public to continue working together with the police to curb criminal activities and paid tribute to those who alerted the police.

 

During the past years ZESA and the National Railways of Zimbabwe, among many other organisations have lost property worth millions of dollars to criminals.
