charles-sibanda.jpgFormer Caps United and Warriors great, Charles Sibanda has urged coaches to focus their attention on rural areas which have more talent than that found in urban areas, if a strong Zimbabwe national soccer team is to be built.

Sibanda, who was leading a 5-team member of football legends that also included Moses Chunga, Stix Mtizwa, Brenna Msika and Peter Ndlovu at the inaugural Robert Mugabe Schools Soccer tournament which ended at Kutama college on Monday says the tournament set an alarm to take a serious re-look at football development for him and his team.

The 5-member team who were also offering expertise to the participating teams selected Trevor Chikede from Kutama College as the player of the tournament and goalkeeper Thulani Hatidani as the best goal keeper for the event.

Msengezi High’s, Pius Lomazolo emerged the top goal scorer.
