General Sibanda says the army will continue to work with the local business community as this improves the force’s service delivery as well as efficiency.

Lieutenant General Sibanda payed tribute to the corporate world for participating in the Executive Interaction Initiative held in Kadoma in August this year.

He said this while addressing delegates at the Executive Interaction Initiative thanks giving dinner held at the Army Headquarters in Harare.

The dinner was held to thank contributors to the various army fundraising initiatives.

“We will continue working closely with the business community and other stakeholders to improve the welfare of our members and their beneficiarie,” said General Sibanda.

The ZNA has 5 charities namely Tsanga Lodge, Convalescent Centre, ZNA Schools and Welfare Trust, ZNA Benevolent Fund, Patients’ Welfare Fund and Army Widows and Orphans Benevolent Fund. Funds for these charities are raised through the Commander‘s Charity Ball, Executive Interaction Initiative and ZNA family Show.

A Charity Horse Race at Borrowdale Race Course will be held on the 21st of this month to raise more funds.
