Zanu PF National Political Commissar, Cde Webster Shamu has called on all progressive Zimbabweans to show their solidarity with the Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe as he celebrates his 88th birthday.
Cde Shamu, who is also the Minister of Media, Information and Publicity, said Zimbabweans should turn up in their thousands and show solidarity with President Mugabe, whose leadership skills have brought about economic, political and social development in the country.
The President’s birthday celebrations will be held this Saturday at Sakubva Stadium in Mutare, under the theme ‘Wealth to the Youths, Upfumi Kuvadiki, Inotho Kwabatsha.’
The 21st February Movement was established in 1986 as a welfare organisation for youths.
It seeks to inculcate into young Zimbabweans the principles and patriotism of its patron, President Robert Mugabe, who was born on that date in 1924.
