In a speech read on his behalf at the launch of a partnership between the Zimbabwe Association of Recording Industries and Zimpost in Harare, Cde Shamu bemoaned the lack of effectiveness in the country’s copyright laws.

He urged the police force and the judiciary to be aggressive in dealing with piracy culprits.

Speaking at the same occasion, Zimpost representative, Mr Neil Moyo, urged recording companies to provide quality products at affordable rates.
