knowledge-musona.jpgZimbabwe national soccer team striker, Knowledge Musona, has attracted the attention of Scottish giants, Glasgow Celtic, who have joined in the race to sign the Kaizer Chiefs forward.

Knowledge Musona’s exploits in the South African Premiership and on the international stage have seen Celtic Manager, Neil Lennon, joining in the hunt to lure him to Celtic Park.

Neil Lennon wrote to Kaizer Chiefs informing them of their interest in the Smiling Assassin this Wednesday.

Musona who was already in the process of securing a visa to travel to Germany for trials with Hoffermein, could have his plans changed after Celtic Boss wrote to Kaizer Chiefs boss Kaizer Motaung, informing him of their intentions to sign him.

Lennon’s letter promises to table a firm offer in a few days after studying Musona’s videos.

The Zimbabwean international was scheduled to undergo trials with German club Hoffenheim, but Glasgow’s status could sway Musona to a team that will be playing Champions League football again this season after ending second in the Scottish Premier League last season.

Musona who recently received ABSA Premiership’s top goal scorer award could join another African on Celtic’s list of off-season signings after the Glasgow club recently announced the signing of Kenyan international, Victor Wanyama.
