The search for Zimbabwe’s entertainment talent in the southern region reached its climax as a number of budding musicians and poets took time to prove their capabilities in front of a sizable audience at the regional finals of the Starbrite competition held in Bulawayo this Saturday.

Poets and musicians kept the audience entertained during the better part of Saturday as they took turns to outdo each other on the podium in a bid to represent the region in the finals to be held later in the year.

Show organiser, Barney Mpariwa said this year’s edition of Starbrite is with a difference as it afforded inmates and other budding entertainers a chance to showcase what they are made of.

The Starbrite talent show seeks to identify Zimbabwe’s hidden talent and expose it to the world by providing recording deals to the winners of the show.
