The Republic of Korea has condemned illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe and has pledged to continue extending its support and exploring new opportunities for consolidating bilateral relations existing between the two countries.
The Republic of Korea Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr. Lew Kwang-chul (insert) was speaking after a courtesy call on Zanu PF National Chairman, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo.
The Korean diplomat expressed support for the existing bilateral relations between the two countries and the need to have illegal sanctions imposed by the West on Zimbabwe removed.
Ambassador Khaya Moyo described the meeting with the Korean ambassador as very fruitful and said Zanu PF and Zimbabwe will continue interacting with the Asian nation.
The Republic of Korea has expressed interest in investing in areas of health, research, medicine and information technology through an organisation known as the African Future Foundation.
A youth delegation from the Asian country is expected to visit Zimbabwe in November for meetings with Zanu PF with an interest in information, communication technology.
