Zimbabwe national rugby team captain, Hilton Mudariki is bullish of a positive result when the Sables face Uganda at Harare Sports Club this Saturday.

In the absence of Brandon Mandivenga, Hilton Mudariki is the man bestowed the role of captaining the Sables, a task which is not easy.

There has been a positive vibe in the Sables camp given recent results which have seen them winning all their Victoria Cup encounters.

Despite the positive momentum, Mudariki said Zimbabwe will have to work extra hard as they face a Ugandan side which recently had game time after getting the better of Zambia.

“We simply need to deliver on Saturday and forget about our previous matches. There is a positive feeling in camp but again we need to remember that Uganda are match fit as they recently beat Zambia. We will thus need to put extra effort in order to match our opponents,” said Mudariki.

Zimbabwe is also hoping to capitalise on home advantage.

The reverse fixture ended in victory for Zimbabwe who are also eager to guard against complacency and complete back to back wins against a tough opponent.
