The Zimbabwe rugby team has shifted focus to their next Victoria cup encounter against Uganda slated for the 24th of this month in Harare.
It has been a dream campaign for the Sables who boast of a 100 percent record in the Victoria cup.
After getting their campaign underway with a win over Zambia, Zimbabwe went onto to get the better of Uganda away from home before edging Kenya on home soil.
The Sables are, however, putting aside their recent good form with focus on their next assignment against Uganda at Harare Sports Club.
A 27-man squad has been named in the build up to the Uganda encounter. Hilton Mudariki, Kudakwashe Chiwanza, Biselele Tshamala, Matthew Mandioma and Shingi Katsvere are among the players in the 27-member squad. Matthew McNab has been ruled out by injury.
The Sables are hoping to replicate the impressive showing against the Ugandans in the reverse fixture with Coach Brendon Dawson eager to again prove himself in the Victoria cup which has provided Zimbabwe with the much needed game time following the cancellation of the Africa gold cup.
