Sabina Mugabe Secondary School in Mt Hampden has received building materials worth thousands of dollars from a well wisher.
The school is faced with numerous challenges and is still using makeshift infrastructure.
It is against this background that the school headmaster, Mr Solomon Mandizvidza called on for assistance from the corporate world.
“Our school still lags behind despite the fact that we are a few kilometres from the capital city. We don’t have staff quarters, and as a result, our members of the staff travel very long distances to and from work,” he said.
The National Assembly member for Zvimba East, Cde Francis Mukwangwariwa handed over building materials worth thousands of dollars to the school in his efforts to alleviate numerous challenges faced by the school
“All in all, the building materials we have bought for this school is worth $6000 which is part of the community development fund,” said Cde Mukwangariwa.
The building materials handed over include roofing sheets, cement and timber.
