South African rapper Refiloe Maele Phoolo popularly known in the music circles as Cassper Nyovest has arrived in the country this morning ahead of his two shows.
Nyovest will peform this Friday (today) in Bulawayo at Large City Hall before his grand concert on Saturday (tomorrow) at Glamis Arena in the capital.
Speaking after his arrival Nyovest said Zimbabweans must look forward to a more energetic and exciting show.
The artist is in the country as part of Impala car rental’s 10th anniversary celebrations, said the company’s director Thompson Dondo.
Some of the artists set to perform at the Impala’s anniversary celebrations include Alick Macheso, Jah Prayzah, Sulumani Chimbetu, Sam Dondo, Winky D, Peter Moyo And Somandla Ndebele.
Among Nyovest’s popular songs include ‘Doc Shebeleza’, ‘Nyuku’ and ‘Superman’.
Recently he made headlines around the world after he claimed to be the first artist to use a floating stage.
