Government is set to transform Rutope Clinic into a hospital and the Bindura Rural District Council (RDC) is pushing for the speedy implementation of this transformative landscape.
In a bid to intensify quality provision of health services in the country, clinics are being transformed into hospitals.
This has been witnessed in Mashonaland Central Province with Rutope Clinic being the latest health centre to be transformed into a rural hospital through the initiative from Bindura RDC and their partners.
Speaking after a ground breaking ceremony, Mashonaland Central provincial administrator Mr Cosmos Chiringa said success of the project requires the participation of communities and other relevant stakeholders.
Rutope Clinic has been transformed into a modern clinic through the involvement of developing partners.
So far the clinic is serving over 3 000 people and the transformation into a hospital will see more people from other provinces being catered for.
