The Zimbabwe U-18 schoolgirls rugby team has been handed a tough draw at the annual Soth Africa Youth Week rugby festival and will meet the Eastern Province at 1420 hours on Thursday at Jepoe High in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The girls got off to a good start when they thrashed Limpopo Blue Bulks 24-5 in their opening match on Tuesday.
They have also been the best performing youth team for Zimbabwe in the South African youth rugby festivals, eclipsing the boys U-18, U-16 and U-13 sides, all of which are sponsored by Old Mutual.
Last year, the Zimbabwe schoolgirls won all three matches in Weljom, in the Free State Province in their performance to date since 2010.
They beat Griquas 39-5, Limpopo Blue Bulls 5-nil and Boland 20-15 in their final match at the North West stadium.
