rugby action 09-08-10.jpgOld Georgians and Harare Sports Club are set to resume their rivalry when they lock horns in the opening day of the 2012 National Rugby League which gets underway this weekend.

After overcoming old foes Harare Sports Club 44-38 in an exciting final at Old Georgians last year, reigning National Rugby League champions Old Georgians Sports Club will be looking to continue with their dominance over Sports Club in an encounter that is expected to produce some thrilling action.

The match will be played at Old Georgians.

In other action at Old Georgians, Airforce clash with Matland Warriors.

 

Bulawayo will also play host to some National Rugby League action as Old Miltonians clash with Old Hararians in an interesting match which will see both teams hoping to begin the 2012 season on a high at Hartsfield rugby grounds.

In the Midlands, Gweru will play Panthers.

In the women’s game, Harare Sports Club will play Police, while Heels will lock horns with Airforce.
