rivaldo number 10.jpgFormer Brazil star, Rivaldo has confirmed that he is on his way to Angola to discuss a potential move to Angolan top flight club, Kabuscorp.

Rivaldo, 39, was released by Sao Paulo in December after less than 12 months with the Brazilian giants, but is keen to continue playing until the end of 2012.

The playmaker has won a host of major honours during a glittering career, including the 2002 World Cup with Brazil, the 2003 Champions League with AC Milan and the 1999 World and European Player of the Year awards while at Barcelona.

Should Rivaldo move to Angola, it would represent a massive coup for African football, despite his advancing years.

Rivaldo confirmed he is negotiating with the Angolan team but dispelled rumours that a deal has already been signed.
