Reggae music lovers are today remembering South African reggae icon Lucky Dube who was murdered 11 years ago in Rosettenville, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Rocking the airwaves with hit songs like Remember Me, Different Colours One People, Way It Is, What Is Love, among others, Lucky Dube is remembered across the globe as one of the world’s finest reggae icons who produced music that cut across all ages and above all, promotes the spirit of love and unity.

Dube’s identity, though profoundly declared South African, remains questionable as some claim he originally belonged to Zimbabwean tribe of Chibwanas clan from Chiwundura area.
